However with plenty of squad rotation, not much can be read into that result, although Red Devil fans enjoyed themselves on social media.
Liverpool have actually won the last three competitive meetings between the sides and won 5-0 at Old Trafford, before a 4-0 win at Anfield last season, with Mohamed Salah scoring five times in those matches. If he keeps the same style of play, I genuinely would worry for United, however there is the simple fact that it’s highly unlikely that United will play as badly as they did against Brentford here. Liverpool are not completely free of concerns either, with three goals conceded in the two games so far and criticism of both Virgil Van Dijk and the midfield in general.

As much as a Manchester United improvement is expected, you can argue the same for Liverpool too. United’s issues are all over the park and I just don’t see them being addressed inside a week.
