Ed Walker’s runner made a strong debut, when third at Newbury (6f, good), finishing a length adrift of Lady Alara and more interestingly just half a length adrift of the reopposing Clochette. She finished under hands and heels in that contest and looks to have more in the tank and should improve with that first run under her belt. Strong claims overall.

Five race maiden for Sir Mark Prescott so far, but has been in the mix, picking up successive third places in the last couple of starts, including on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (1m 1f, a/w), when 3.5 lengths adrift of Prism some sixteen days ago. Arguably has more to show than that performance saw and looks the one to beat, with At Liberty and Swashbuckler the main threats.
5:25pm – HAVAGOMECCA (each-way)
Winner at the fifth time of asking, when taking the spoils at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month, beating Summer Secrets by a neck. Had a couple of disappointing runs at Wolverhampton and Catterick afterwards, but looked to have bounced back, when second at Leicester (7f, good to firm) in latest, half a length behind Clipsham Gold. In the mix here and has genuine claims of adding another win.
