Useful Kim Bailey runner, who won at the third attempt, when taking the spoils in a bumper at Hereford (2m, soft) back in March, when beating Mister Watson by 8 lengths, with the rest further adrift in a dominant performance.
He initially struggled on hurdling debut, when fourth of six at Ascot, in a Class 3 contest, but looked improved when second at Doncaster (2m 3f, soft) back in January, before stepping up and taking a first flights win at Uttoxeter (2m 3f, good to soft) at the end of last season, winning by 2 lengths. Now makes his chasing debut and looks the type to take to it well.

TIGERPOMP (2:07pm Newcastle)
Looked a competent bumper for Chris McSharry in two starts last season, including a fifth at Southwell (1m 7f, good) in April. She made her flights debut at Sedgefield a month later and looked good for third, before falling at the last.
She returns after a six month break and should be no worse for that error and assuming she can avoid mistakes, she looks good over this 2m 4f trip. Billy Garrity rides for the first time, in this contest.

LUCKY ROBIN (2:22pm Market Rasen)
Eight wins in forty starts is a healthy return for this 9-yo, who joined Billy Ellison’s yard back in 2018. He enjoys Market Rasen, holding a strong record here of three victories and two places, across seven visits.
His last victory, however came at Sedgefield (2m, good) back in September, when 4lbs higher than this contest, beating Snookered by a nose in Class 3 handicap hurdle. He placed second over the same C&D four weeks later and has since just dropped off slightly, with a couple of sixth placed runs in tougher hurdle contests. Reverts back to Chasing off a more lenient mark and has strong claims at a course he clearly loves.

NOBLE SAVAGE (3:50pm Wincanton)
Seven race maiden for Nigel Twiston-Davies, who has shown a marked improvement, since a debut tenth at Huntingdon back in 2019.
He showed promise, when grabbing a third at Newton Abbot (2m 2f, good) back in April, when just 4.75 lengths adrift of Dorking Lad and returned to continue the forward momentum, to place second last month at Lingfield (2m, soft), behind strong favourite, Naturally High, just eighteen days ago. Plenty to like here and looks very capable of taking the next step in this contest.
