Leading claims with Rhys Clutterbuck claiming 3lbs too.

Picked up just a second career victory over C&D, beating Clashaniska by a neck in a strong performance, taking thr lead in the final furlong and staying on to win. She has since placed fourth in two races, with the latest at Pontefract (5f, good to firm), when 3 lengths behind Elegant Erin. Chances in a competitive contest, but may be worth siding each-way with her.
8:20pm – BEAU GESTE
On a run of sixteen races without a win, but this Tony Carroll runner has shown signs of getting near his best, with a third of seven in his penultimate start at Brighton (1m 2f, good to firm) and a fourth of thirteen last time out at Chepstow (1m, good), when 2.5 lengths adrift of winner, Breckland. Drops back to the 0-50 grade this afternoon and has genuine outright claims here.
