Two wins in fifty-one career starts, but has ran well in last two runs, finishing second at Newton Abbot (2m 5f, good) at the beginning of September, just 1.25 lengths off the winner, before a fourth at Uttoxeter (2m 7f, good) eighteen days ago. Was badly hampered approaching the last, which arguably cost him the race, but based off of those runs, looks to be in the hunt here.

2:30pm Cork (4 Places) MAX’S DANDY – 5/1
Has steadily improved over the five race career so far, culminating in a victory at Limerick three days ago, beating Gregory’s Gift by a nose, finishing strongly. He gave 12lbs to the race rival and that drops by 4lbs today, but the extra furlong is likely to suit Max’s Dandy better. Can continue the progression this afternoon.

Finished third on second career start, when 13 lengths adrift at Ripon (1m 4f, good) last month, before elevating in class at Haydock (1m 3f, soft) last time out and finishing last of four, some 30+ lengths back, after being unsettled in the stalls and subsequently eased down. Steps up to 2m this afternoon on handicap debut, but cannot afford to have further issues upon loading in.
