1:35pm Wetherby (5 Places) BRETNEY – 10/1
Seven race maiden, who has a couple of places to his name, including a recent fourth at Exeter (2m 5f, heavy) in December, when 4 lengths adrift of the winner that day. That was followed by a fifth over the same course and distance on soft ground last month and there is no reason to suggest he cannot at least get closer this time around. Richard Johnson is onboard which also boosts chances.

2:55pm Dundalk (4 Places) THE COLA KID – 6/1
Consistent sort, who bagged a maiden win in his penultimate start at Cork (6f, good) back in September as a 28/1 shot, when half a length clear of Sunset Nova. Clearly didn’t enjoy the heavy conditions, when sixth at Limerick (7f) last time out. Returns from a 130 day break and has previously finished second at Chelmsford on Polytrack. Interested contender in this race.

4:35pm Hereford (4 Places) KERB LINE – 9/1
Nine race maiden, who has placed four times so far, including a fourth among fifteen contenders, last time out over C&D a month ago, when reportedly bleeding afterwards. Hopefully all should be healed and ready to go today, with a better opportunity this afternoon in a lesser contest.
