Thirty-six race maiden, but has placed in sixteen starts, including the latest at Market Rasen (2m,3f, soft), when just a neck behind Getaway North. Has potential to go close again, but will need to show a little more. Place claims more likely.

2:50pm Newcastle (5 Places) WORLD TRIP – 10/1
Had struggled in Class 4 competition, but showed improvement when dropping down to today’s grade, when sixth at Doncaster (2m, soft), although was 20 lengths adrift of the winner. She plugged on well that day and stayed, which makes the 2m 4f this afternoon more appealing. First time cheekpieces may help and looks to have the potential for each-way claims, if the extended trip is as beneficial as hoped.

3:30pm Clonmel (4 Places) NELLS WELL – 7/1
Six race maiden, but went close in latest at Tramore (2m 5f, heavy), when 1.25 lengths behind Moyode Gold, but 15 lengths clear of the rest of the field. Shorter trip may be an issue, but that recent form bodes well at least.
