The Groups
Belgium, England and France are expected to qualify from their respective group draws, with world champions, France arguably facing the toughest task of all. Each group will see the top two automatically qualify, with four of the third placed sides with the best records also going through.
In Group B, Belgium are drawn with Denmark, Russia and Finland, with the Danes likely to pose the biggest threat of the three, although the Red Devils did win 4-2 and 2-0 in last year’s UEFA Nations League
In Group D, England face Croatia, Scotland and Czech Republic. On paper, Les Bleus arguably have the narrow advantage, but with cagey matches expected, this is likely to go down to the wire. All three of the leading sides should beat the Hungarians and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this group produce one of the best third placed sides too.
