3:10pm Huntingdon (4 Places) SOUND OF MUSIC – 6/1
Six race maiden, but did pick up a best result last time out, when third at Taunton (2m 7f, heavy) back in February, finishing 3.25 lengths behind the winner. She can go close, if able to jump better, which was arguably what held her back in that last outing. Capable of more and will only get better.
4:05pm Clonmel (5 Places) SWEET WILL – 16/1
Another maiden, with ten races under his belt, without much to shout about, however he was a lot shorter priced in his last race, so this 4-yo holds plenty of interest once again. A 3lbs claim may help, while it’s hoped that some of the recent form at Gavin Cromwell’s yard can rub off on this youngster.
4:45pm Taunton (5 Places) GANG WARFARE – 17/2
10-yo has ten wins in 47 career starts and returned to form last time out, when second to Miss Honey Rider over C&D, nineteen days ago and finishing 1.75 lengths adrift. 3lbs rise isn’t ideal, but a drop in class could well counter that here today. Currently 0-12 over hurdles, but that last run, certainly piques interest.
