2:35pm Doncaster (5 Places) DUBAI SOUQ – 16/1
Two wins in the last four starts, including his penultimate start at Nottingham (1m 2f, soft), when 6 lengths clear of Magna Moralia back in October of 2019. Has only ran once since, when forth at Ascot (1m 3f, good) last July and the long break is a concern, but a drop in distance should help. First run since being gelded.
3:10pm Doncaster (5 Places) KING OTTOKAR – 14/1
Two career wins came in opening three career starts, but has been unable to repeat that in eight runs since. Finished fifth of five at Windsor (1m 3f, soft) in a Group 3 contest last August, although was only 5.5 lengths behind the winner, but has found similar results, even with a drop down to Class 2 level. Has not had the best of luck in recent starts, but needs to show more than excuses, while cheekpieces replace a visor. Each-way places looks the way here.
4:10pm Navan (5 Places) KHAFAAQ – 14/1
Four wins in twenty-six starts, with the last of those back in September at Tipperary (7f, good to yielding), sealing a double by half a length to Muddlahim. Comes back from a four month break and can go well now refreshed. A J Slattery claims 3lbs onboard. Places look a healthy option here.
