Debut fourth last year at Wincanton (1m 7f, soft), but has been unable to build upon that in three runs since and looked poor when last but one at Taunton *2m 3f, heavy) last time out, some 83 lengths adrift. Wears a tongue-tie today on handicap debut, but needs a big improvement, despite market backing.
4:10pm Taunton (5 Places) BRETNEY – 8/1
Eight race maiden, who looks on the cusp of better results, having finished 456 in last three starts, with the latest of six, coming at Wetherby (2m 3f, soft). Has some staying pedigree and with that in mind, the rise in trip today, could help see them fighting for the win.
