Two strong performances so far for this Willie Haggas’ runner, debuting with a third at Redcar (6f, good) at the end of May, before placing second, some 6 lengths adrift of the very smart newcomer, Ferrari Queen at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) a week ago. Expected to battle it out with Coco Jack for the victory here and certainly has more in the tank, to grab a maiden win.

3:28pm – INDIAN SOUNDS (each-way)
Five wins in forty starts, but has not won since September 2020, when taking a third win in four starts here at Beverley. Paul Midgley’s charge showed some good form over the Autumn of last year, when second at Pontefract and Musselburgh, but has so far struggled this term and placed seventh of thirteen at Musselburgh (5f, good) in his latest. Drop back in grade will help, but needs to produce more.
4:40pm – SPIRITOFTHENORTH
Placed seven times in nine starts last term and returned to action in March to grab a maiden win at the nineteenth time of asking, when winning at Wolverhampton (1m 1f, a/w), beating Carey Street by half a length. He then switched to hurdles at Wetherby (2m, soft) to romp home by some 32 lengths, in a Class 4 contest the same month. A recent second of eight at Sedgefield (2m 1f, good) saw them keep up the strong form and a reversion back to the flat offers big hopes in a race that he placed runner up in last year.
