He goes in as odds on favourite for this contest and its difficult to look elsewhere for this race.

THYME HILL is a very strong Philip Hobbs charge, who has won twice and placed twice in the last four runs, winning the Grade 2 – Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury (3m, good), back in November 2020, when 1.5 lengths ahead of Paisley Park and the Liverpool Hurdle at Aintree, last April. He returned to action last December, when second to Champ in the Grade 1 – Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot (3m, good to soft) and is expected to build on that here, with Champ reopposing.

She has strong claims here, with Celebre Dallen and Imperial Alcazar both genuine threats here, in a competitive contest.
