For this year’s Festival we’ve teamed up with bet365 to bring our users a cracking free to enter tipster competition with a range of valuable prizes.
Each day of the Festival we’ll be running a Tipzone competition giving users the challenge of spending a 20 point bank to accumulate as much profit as they can. Win and Each-way bets are possible, opening up a range of strategies to find the best tipster. Each day bet365 have put up an £85 basket of free bets for the top 3 tipsters. At the conclusion of the festival the top two tipsters with the highest retained profit will win an iPad Retina Display and an iPod Touch respectively, with third place winning a £100 free bet. A further basket of £150 is available to reward the top 3 tipsters with the highest returning single bets.
That’s a whopping £1,300 of prizes in a competition we know you’ll want to enter!
Free bet prizes will be settled by bet365 each morning before racing begins, so if you wish to send us your bet365 username in advance to [email protected] marking the title line ‘Cheltenham Competition’ we’ll make sure bet365 are in receipt of these so that prizes can be awarded by 10.00am the following day and used that day. . To enter the competition, you must be a registered user of GG.COM and be logged into the site. On Day One of the festival, navigate to Tipzone Challenge and click the appropriate ‘Take This Challenge’ button to start making your selections. You’ll need to click this button to enter your selections on each day of the festival. Competition terms and conditions are included below and will also appear on the competition home page,
As races are run on each day of the competition the leaderboard will show the position in real time and this will be summarised on our home page. Be sure to check back to GG.COM regularly to see how you’re doing.

Competition Rules and Terms and Conditions
In Brief
- 20 point betting bank for each daily competition. You must spend all of your bank on a day.
- Betting banks cannot be carried over between days.
- Win and Each-way bets acceptable.
- Maximum win stake 5 points. Minimum win stake will be 1 point with the minimum each way stake being half this at 0.5 points.
- Non-runners will be treated as no bets and the stakes refunded to the bank.
- To win the overall prizes, you must take part in each daily competition.
- The overall prize will be calculated on aggregated profit across the 4 days.
DETAILED RULES
Placing Tips
- Each day players can see the available Cheltenham events for the Challenge. They may click on the event name to reveal the runners.
- They may click the Win and Each-way ‘tip it’ button to make their selection – but must be sure before they do so as once clicked these cannot be reversed.
- Markets close when the horses are at the official ‘at post’ signal generally a couple of minutes before the ‘off’.
- Players can view selected tips on their Tipster Profile.
Betting Periods
- This Challenge is played across the 4 days of Cheltenham with each day (a Period) being a separate Challenge.
- At the beginning of each Period, players have a total of 20 points representing their Betting Bank. Once entered to a competition you must use up the betting bank. A non-runner in the last is the only exception to this rule.
- Maximum win stake in one tip will be all 5 points with the maximum each-way stake being half this of 2.5 points.
- Minimum win stake will be 1 point with the minimum each way stake being half this at 0.5 points.
- Each-way betting in respect of places offered will follow convention, but each-way odds will be pegged at one quarter (25%) of the win odds.
- Points cannot be carried between periods; e.g. you cannot bet in Period two with points from Period one. Unspent points at the end of a period are lost.
Settling Tips
- When the result of an event is available, tips are settled by Challenge and the Leaderboard is be updated.
- For fairness, tips will be settled at SP.
- Non-runners are refunded, so points can be spent again within the Period. But make sure you spend them before the end of the period, or they’ll be lost.
The Challenge Leaderboard
- Each Challenge has its own leaderboard, with the player with the most profit at the top.
- In the event that players cannot be separated after profit is taken into account, Challenge will look first at strike rate (number of winners), then at the total number of tips placed; the player with the least tips wins.
- If there is still a tie, the time-stamp of the first tip placed is checked; with the earliest time-stamp winning.
The Overall Competition
- To qualify for the overall prize, a player must have played in each of the daily competitions.
- The overall prize leaderboard will be calculated on aggregated profit across each of the the 4 days.
Competition Terms and Conditions
- One entry per individual user. Users found to be using multiple IDS will be disqualified.
- The competition is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
- To claim a free bet prize or the iPad or iPod prizes, entrants must have a registered, active betting account with bet365
- Winners will be as detailed on the Tipzone Nap Challenge leaderboard. Prizes will be awarded on the basis that the winning individuals have an active bet365 account. Failure to have such an account or to acquire one will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. In the case of disqualification, the prize will be awarded to the next individual with an active bet365 account below the disqualified individual.
- Daily free bet prizes can be awarded the following day where bet365 is in receipt of of a winners username and email address . Please email this information privately in advance to [email protected] and we will forward to bet365.
- All competition winners will be announced on the GG.COM website within a day of the end of the competitions.
- GG.COM retains the final say on how the competition is run and in resolving any issues in relation to this competition. we reserve the right to make changes to the rules at any time.

Claiming a Prize
- If you are a prize winner, please send us an email (within five working days of the conclusion of the competition to avoid delay) to [email protected] claiming your prize including your GG.COM username, your bet365 username and the email address used to open your bet365 account. If you would like to use a free bet prize during the competition, please send us your bet365 username to the same address in advance of the competition beginning.
bet365 Free Bet Bonus T’s & C’s
- Free Bet Bonuses will need to be played through once at minimum odds of 1.50 prior to making a withdrawal.
- Players must claim the bonus and complete all rollover requirements within 90 days. Where the bonus is not completed within 90 days, any funds held in the bonus balance will be forfeited.
- Players can only have one active bonus at any one time. To claim another bonus the current active bonus must be completed or closed first.
- Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to a deposit bonus, enhanced payments, free bets or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, bet365 reserves the right to reclaim the bonus element of such offers and in their absolute discretion either settle bets at the correct odds, void the free bets or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus. In addition bet365 reserve the right to levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the deposit bonus, free bet or additional payment to cover administrative costs. We further reserve the right to ask any customer to provide sufficient documentation for us to be satisfied in our absolute discretion as to the customer’s identity prior to us crediting any bonus, free bet or offer to their account.
