Race 1 (1:20pm) SUPER SIX

Started off strong with two successive bumper victories, before an impressive fifth in the Champion Bumper last March at Cheltenham. He couldn’t repeat that at in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree, a month later, but returned for the new season, with a dead-heat victory on hurdling debut at Perth in September, sharing the spoils with It’s Good To Laugh. Has had a three month break and returns to action after a wind-op. Plenty of potential for this contest.

Race 2 (1:55pm) KYNTARA

Winner on debut at Warwick, a year ago in a bumper contest, before taking an extended break and returning last November for a hurdling debut at Lingfield (2m 3f, good to soft) and placing third. Kim Bailey’s charge improved in the latest, taking a 0.75 length second to Picanha at Warwick (2m 5f, soft) and that could have been better, if not for a bad mistake. Strong claims overall.

Race 3 (2:25pm) EVA’S OSKAR

Latest of five victories came here, over C&D back in October, when 2.75 lengths ahead of Jeremy Pass. Has since placed second at Ascot (2m 7f, good) and Cheltenham (3m 1f, good to soft), before being pulled-up in the Welsh Grand National at the end of the year, when out of the weights. That can be forgiven in fairness and Tim Vaughan’s runner is expected to improve from that performance.

Race 4 (3:00pm) SUPERVISOR

Seven race maiden, who has placed twice in the last four starts, including in his last race at Uttoxeter (2m 6f, soft), when third on chasing debut and just 3 lengths adrift of winner, Clondaw Promise. Expect an improvement off the back of that run, with this Venetia Williams trained entry arguably in a position to take a first career victory.

Race 5 (3:30pm) ECEPARTI

Both career wins, came as part of a double back in 2019, including a victory over 2m 3f at this venue. Has placed three times overall and did so in the latest, here at Chepstow (2m 7f, good to soft) back in November, when 15 lengths adrift of runaway winner, On Call. Extended 3m 2f trip looks ideal and is another runner from the Venetia Williams yard, who should go well here.

Race 6 (4:00pm) FEIVEL

Winner at the third time of asking in December, when taking the spoils at Hexham (2m 4f, heavy) and beating Bak Rocky by half a length. After a disappointing run at Fakenham, he bounced back to better form, when third of six at Haydock last time out, a fortnight ago, just 2.25 lengths behind The Grey Falco. Jumping can be an issue, but if he performs well here, he will feature.
