In fine form, having won a hurdle contest in May and has won all three starts since returning to the flat, sealing the treble nine days ago at Chepstow (2m, good), beating Cloudy Rose by a neck. Misha Volkansky claims a useful 5lbs in this amateur contest, with this Kevin Frost runner due to go up 2lbs in the future. Strong claims here and looks the one to beat.

Prolific early on in his career, winning six of the first nine starts overall. but has failed to win since September 2019. Having switched to Paul Midgley’s yard, it took some time to show his best form, which came last time out at Chester (5f, good), when second to King Of Tonga at Chester (5f, good), by 1.5 lengths. Dusky Prince looks the clear favourite, but off the back of that last run, a strong challenge is expected.
3:45pm – JUMP THE GUN
Three career wins, including victory at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last time out, when 0.75 lengths clear of Pure Dreamer, twelve days ago in first time cheekpieces. They are understandably retained and assuming the do the trick again, this Iain Jardine runner can challenge Cliff Cake and Point Lynas for the victory.
