6:55pm – GYPSY WHISPER
Has looked very impressive in two runs here, firstly placing second over 7f (good), when half a length behind Alethiometer three weeks ago, before stepping up to today’s C&D (good to firm) and taking the spoils, five days ago, beating Kiritimati Island by 3 lengths. 5lbs penalty to contend with today, but this mare still has plenty in reserve.

7:55pm – ACHNAMARA
Showed good from a couple of months back, when taking the spoils at Beverley (1m 4f, good to firm), beating Noonie by 3.25 lengths, before following up with a second here at Doncaster (1m 6f, good) last month, by just half a length to Salvator Mundi. Has since struggled in two strong 3-yo contests at Ascot and Haydock, but a return to calmer waters is expected to see a welcome return to form this evening.
8:55pm – WILLEM TWEE
James Fanshawe’s runner has improved in all three starts, culminating in a maiden victory in his latest, here over C&D, some twenty-six days ago, when 2.25 lengths ahead of Gabriella’s Spirit on good to firm ground. On a good mark and clearly the one to beat according to the markets, with most bookmakers having him odds on.
