Just five wins in thirty-six races, but has picked up some decent form over the last few runs, with a second at Goodwood in August and victory last time out at Newcastle, over today’s 5f distance. Has won at this venue and on good to soft ground too, so could go close, if he can repeat similar form to that last race.
4:10pm Newmarket (4 Places) EXEC CHEF – 11/2
Picked up a treble in 2018, but failed to take a victory last year. He did offer up some solid performances during that time however, most notably in the Spring Mile at Doncaster in the March (2019), missing out by half a length to Petrus, when off a 2lb higher mark that day. Looks to have a good chance off this mark, but needs a little improvement to go all the way.
6:40pm Lingfield (4 Places) MADAME PELTIER – 15/2
Makes first handicap appearance this afternoon and is expected to continue the improvements made in her three juvenile appearances.Finished ninth of thirteen at Kempton last time out in January, but only 5 lengths off the winner. Drops down to Class 6 here and Hayley Turner rides for the first time.
