5:30pm – PITTSBURG (each-way)
Just the single caree victory, which came at Catterick (2m 3f, good to soft) back in December, when a neck clear of Coup De Gold. Has made little progress in five starts since, with the latest seeing them place sixth of nine at Worcester (2m, good), some 12 lengths adrift of the winner. Now back to that last winning mark and market interest, makes for a punter connundrum. Each-way backing looks the sensible option here.
Today’s Racecards
6:00pm – BALLYMILAN
In good form of late, following up a victory at Worcester (2m 7f, good to soft), when beating Tedham by neck, with a victory at Huntingdon (2m 7f, good) to seall a double and some 4.5 lengths ahead of Tazka in early June. Disappointed in latest, when seventh of eight, again at Worcester, jumping poorly and finishing 80 lengths adrift. Returns from an eight week break and is expected to bounce back in style, now refreshed and with the extended 3m 2f, also expected to suit.
7:00pm – PRINCE OF BAD LINS (each-way)
A nine race maiden, who has been showing decent ability in the two chase starts made, so far. This Ryan Potter trained gelding placed fourth of eight at Cartmel (3m 1f, good), before a fourth of eleven at Market Rasen (2m 7f, good) ten days ago, when finishing 8 lengths adrift of Red Maple. He returns to hurdles this evening, with cheekpieces fitted and like his race rival, looks set to be a useful each-way selection.
