Two wins and five seconds in a dozen starts for this Gordon Elliott runner, with both victories coming back in late 2020. Has been lightly raced over the last 18 months, which had affected form, however a second on return from a 199 day break at Limerick (2m 3f, good) saw them miss out by a head to Il Courra. Looks to be back in form and is likely to improve with that fitness under his belt. Chinx Of Light is the main danger here.

Two wins and two places in five starts so far, for this Barry Connell trained gelding. He returned after a fourteen month lay-off back in February, picking up a second at Naas (1m 7f, soft), some 8 lengths adrift of Bring On The Night, before going one better at Fairyhouse (2m 4f, yielding) in April, when 4 lengths clear of Glenglass. Makes handicap bow today and should be suited by the ground and this extended trip. Big player and arguably the one to beat..
5:40pm – FLASH OF DAWN (each-way)
This Jim Bolger charge has a record of 74635 since making a debut in May. The best of those runs, came in the penultimate start, when third at Tipperary (1m 1f, yielding to soft) four weeks ago, finishing 4.5 lengths adrift of Aristovic. A fifth last time out at Down Royal (1m 5f, good), six days ago looked a good performance and a drop back to today’s 1m 4f could well help, although improvement is arguably needed off this same mark. Each-way claims here.
