POCKET THE PACKET is a horse with a very solid profile who is a proven course and distance winner. On his day he’s quite talented for the company he’s running in, and although he steps up to Class 4 company, I think he’s capable at this level. Again Ryan Moore does the steering.

RECUERDAME looks a great bet here to go in again. A 4lb rise doesn’t look enough to stop him if he’s in the same heart as his course and distance victory last time. This is a pretty weak affair with few to write home about. He’s a solid bet for me here.

SWEET FANTASY wasn’t disgraced in a higher grade here last time out, finishing a solid 4th only losing 2nd in the dying strides. She drops down to much easier company today and is only 3lb higher than for her latest win. Paris Lights is the main danger.

MISS BELLA BRAND (e/w) looks a big price given she only bumped into a half decent one when 2nd last time at Kempton having run a brillient race up front. She’s in great heart at the moment having won at Southwell the time before comfortably by 2 lengths. This looks well within her compass and she runs off a featherweight here and is surely going to run her race again.

It’s very hard to look passed favourite AL AGAILA in this who is bidding to make it a hat-trick of victories. She’s rising through the ranks and the manner in which she won in a similar event lat time indicates she’ll be hard to sop going in again. James Doyle is a great booking to boot.

The form of SILKY WILKIE‘s 2nd in January got well and truly franked by the winner Annaf on Thursday who went in again at Kempton by 2 lengths in a higher grade than this. Further progress is likely from Karl Burke’s gelding and once again Sam Fielden takes off 7lbs. He should be thereabouts today.

Charlie Johnston has seamlessly taken to the sole licence of the operation and his runners are in great form right now. Asdaa rates as a solid each way to nothing bet at 6/1.
