Another excellent week of racing brought with it the Becher Chase from Aintree, won by 10/1 shot, Walk In The Mill and at Sandown, the Tingle Creek showdown was won by [Altior, who beat Un De Sceaux by four lengths.
For our GG Tipsters, it was a quiet week, with some tough fixtures making selections a little difficult, although our team of dedicated experts are sure to bounce back this week. Below we highlight a few of the good results, along with a brief look at Mike Bear’s Greyhound selections from Monday and Tuesday.
All pricing is best available a time or higher SP.
Andrew Mount
Andrew Mount picked up a duo of selections, with 13/2 Winner, You’re Cool taking the victory by three quarters of a length at Wolverhampton on Monday, while on Tuesday, this was followed by Pardon Me, a 6/1 each-way selection at Fontwell, finishing a distant third behind the winner.
Kevin O’Malley
Kevin picked up three results over an intermittent week for our resident tipster. A dominating 11/4 winner in Xpo Universel at Kelso, saw the selection win by a huge twenty-one lengths and looks to be one to keep an eye on in the future. Elsewhere, two each-way picks in Makka Pakka (11/2 at Clonmel) and The Gipper (12/1 at Lingfield) supplemented the single winner.
Sam Turner
Sam Turner returned from a break with a couple of results on Sunday, when Romeo Brown won as the Even money favourite at Kelso by three and a half lengths, while at Huntingdon, Charbel grabbed a comfortable eight length win in the grade two, Peterborough Chase.
Mike Bear
Our greyhound expert, Mike had a host of tips across Monday and Tuesday, with ten winners overall. A solid monday brought four winners, including a duo of wins at Sheffield and he followed that up in style with three timers at Crayford and Poole on Tuesday.
This weekend, the feature meeting is at Cheltenham, with the feature race, the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup.
