1:50pm – WARREN POINT

This Dubawi colt got off to a perfect start, winning his first two starts at Newmarket (1m 2f, good) in May and at Doncaster (1m 2f, good) last month, when 0.75 lengths clear of Liseo. A second of three, nineteen days ago at Ascot in a Class 2 contest, saw them beaten by stablemate Wild Crusade, but that performance continued the upward trajectory of this Charlie Appleby runner. Genuine claims and may well relish the larger field.

2:25pm – CHATEAU

Two wins in four starts, including a Class 2 at Beverley (5f, good to firm) in May. After a very creditable fourth in the Listed – Windsor Castle Stakes last month, when 3 lengths adrift of Little Big Bear, he then improved to take the Listed – Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury (6f, good to firm), a fortnight ago, finishing a length clear of Rogue Lightning. Looks set to battle Royal Scotsman for the win here.

3:00pm – NEW LONDON

Three victories in four starts, including the Class 2 Bet365 Handicap at Newmarket (1m 2f, good to firm), when finishing 3 lengths ahead of Swilcan Bridge, three weeks ago off a high mark. The only defeat came in the Group 3 – Chester Vase (1m 4f, soft) back in May, when 6.5 lengths behind Changingoftheguard. he looks strong for this contest, with Derby runner-up Hoo Ya Mal the obvious and main danger.
