Iain Jardine’s charge made a strong start to his career, with a second over C&D thirteen days ago, missing out by a neck to Mas Rapido, keeping on well in the closing stages but not quite having enough to reel the winner in. Likely to stay further, but the trainer keep’s him at 6f, this afternoon and offers the main threat to favourite, Catch The Paddy.

2:45pm – SIP AND SMILE
Made a superb start his career, with two wins at Newcastle earlier in the year, before being gelded in March. Has performed well since, picking up a couple of places and a victory at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month, when a length adrift of Mistrix. Picked up a third of four, when elevated to Class 3 level last time out, in first time cheekpieces and should be able to handle this step up in class once again. In the mix, but Ghaly looks a tough nut to crack.
3:50pm – JORDAN ELECTRICS
Last of five wins came almost a year ago, over C&D. It’s been some thirteen runs since taking that victory, but recent form suggests another may just be around the corner, having placed second, again over C&D in penultimate start, before repeating the feat at Ayr (6f, good), when just a head behind Call Me Ginger ten days ago. Competitive contest here, but very much in the hunt for the spoils.
