Expected to battle Mintnthat and Retirement Beckons for the spoils here, with conditions expected to suit. Tough to back with her record, but has genuine chances of finally adding to the win column.

Strong performance, when second on debut at Newcastle (6f, a/w) some thirteen days ago, when just a shorthead behind Hougoumont. He battled well, taking on the leader in the final furlong, staying on well, but just didn’t have enough to take the spoils. Big favourite to open his account, with Thankuappreciate the only real threat here.
3:15pm – MARK’S CHOICE
Four time winner for Sam England, who made a solid debut for Adrian Keatley, when third of fourteen at Ripon (6f, good to firm), when beaten by 2.5 lengths to Intrinsic Bond in the Great St Wilfrid, which was made to look even better by being out of the weights. Comes into calmer waters here and should have a bigger say this time around and goes in as favourite here.
