Ralph Beckett’s charge has showed steady improvement in each of his three runs, with the last of those seeing him place fifth of eleven at Lingfield (1m, a/w), when 4.25 lengths adrift of Yonafis in November. Been gelded since and makes return over 1m 2f for this handicap debut. Plenty of money on the boards and looks set to challenge Dal Mallart for the spoils.

Six time winner, including three over this C&D, with the last coming back in September 2020. Has looked strong this season so far, with a second at Hamilton (6f, soft) in May, before returning to the same C&D and picking up a third in a Class 2 contest. He placed second of eleven at Chester (6f, good) last time out, when half a length to Ballyare, three weeks ago and looks a big player here, especially with the market backing on top.
7:08pm – TOTHENINES
Promising debut back in April 2021, when second at Leicester, before returning from over a year off, to once again place second, this time at Doncaster (7f, good to firm), 1.25 lengths adrift of Bass Player. After a couple of lesser runs, he bounced back in style to take a maiden win at Ripon (6f, good), last time out, when a length ahead of Fast And Loose. This unexposed sort, returns to handicapping and has been backed in as the main threat to favourite, True Jem.
