Form has been decent enough since, with a third of eight, last time out over C&D, eighteen days ago, when 3.25 lengths behind Johnson’s Blue. Winning jockey, William Maggs returns onboard and claims a useful 7lbs here, which could well make the difference.

Both career wins, came in a double at Sedgefield at the end of January, beginning of February, over 2m 1f. with the latter seeing them 1.75 lengths clear of Caitlin Dearg. Has found the step up in grade much tougher, although a seventh of fourteen in a Class 2 at Musselburgh (2m 1f, good) in March, was decent from this Brian Ellison runner. Pulled-up last time out on chase debut, so needs to bounce back, now back over hurdles. Strong each-way claims, if at her best.

Alan King’s runner picked up a third back in November at Wolverhampton (7f, a/w), when 2.25 lengths adrift of Anatomic, but has failed to build upon that, since returning from a 143 day break, beating just two others in recent starts. Makes first appearance after being gelded and its hoped that this helps him improve, now making hurdling debut. Looks set to battle Free Chakarte for the spoils.
