5:30pm – DUBAI MILE
Made a useful debut, when fourth of ten at Redcar (7f, good to firm) last month, finishing 3.25 lengths behind Vince Le Prince. He then showed a big improvement to win at Windsor (1m, good to firm), seventeen days ago, when 1.75 lengths clear of Relentless Voyager, making all in the process. Penalised for that victory here today, but looks to have more to come and seems set to battle Super Mo for the spoils.
Today’s Racecards
6:00pm – THE MOUSE KING (each-way)
Placed twice for Julia Feilden, before showing an impressive turn of foot, to take a maiden win at Southwell (7f, a/w) last time out, easing to a 7 length victory, ahead of Hutton Ranger. The gelding displayed an impressive Topspeed figure and comes into this contest well-in under a penalty too. Non Stop and Island Of Skye look the main threats here and an each-way selection may be the more cautious and better option.
8:00pm – TATHBEET (each-way)
Useful fourth on debut at Leicester, before stepping up and taken a maiden victory at Windsor (1m 2f, good to firm), when beating Hexameter by 0.75 lengths in June. Willie Haggas’s charge finished third in his latest, some 7.25 lengths behind smart filly, Haskoy and will be looking to fair better, now handicapping. Sea The Casper is the strong favourite here, but a decent mark and the return of Tom Marquand onboard offers plenty of optimism.
