Three wins in nine starts and took the spoils in his latest and final flat race for Roger Charlton at Yarmouth (1m 6f, good), in a Class 2 contest, beating Marshall plan by a head. He was then purchased for 175,000gns and makes debut for Paul Nicholls, making a compelling case for a first time win.
Race 3 (2:25pm) FANTASTIC LADY
Three wins in seven starts and comes into the race looking or a treble over fences, having followed up a win a debut chase victory at Warwick (2m 4f, good to soft), with a victory at Bangor (2m 4f, soft) a fortnight ago, in a novices limited chase. She looks to have more to come and could easily bag a treble in this contest
Race 4 (3:00pm) SHALLWEHAVEONEMORE
Winner on debut here at Kempton in a bumper, before a second at Ascot in October. He returned after a break to place a creditable fourth at Sandown (1m 7f, heavy) in the Grade 1 – Tolworth Hurdle, albeit some 25 lengths adrift of winner Constitution Hill. He picked up his first hurdle victory, last time out at Sandown (1m 7f, good to soft) in a Novice Hurdle contest, easing to a 20 length win, having plenty in hand at the time. The clear favourite and a genuine surprise, if he doesn’t take the spoils.
Race 5 (3:37pm) THE BIG BREAKAWAY
Three victories in the opening four starts, but is now without a win in seven races. A recent run, saw them place fourth of eight at Newbury in a Class 2 contest, a fortnight ago, finishing just a length adrift of The Brimming Water, so comes into this race, in good nick and a potential to do well here.
Race 6 (4:10pm) STORM DENNIS
Two wins and two places in eight races, with the latest performance, seeing them win at Huntingdon, when 3 lengths clear of For Langy, in a 2m 4f, handicap hurdle. Rise of 5lbs looks within his remit and another strong run is on the cards, if able to repeat that run.
