Five race maiden, who picked up a useful fourth of ten, last time out at Beverley (1m, good), finishing just 1.5 lengths adrift of winner Stripzee. Gives the impression that first time blinkers can suit this evening and goes in as joint favourite, with Regal World across some bookmakers. Strong claims in what is a strong contest.

Only career win came at York (7f, good to firm) back in September, when half a length clear of Flash The Dash in a Class 3 contest. Has looked decent since returning to action, picking up a fourth of thirteen over C&D in April and a second at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) in May. Ran over 6f last time out and struggled, so a return to more familiar distances will likely see an improvement. Strong claims here.
8:25pm – MUMAYAZ (each-way)
Both wins came for Kevin Prendergast, including his last run at Dundalk (7f, a/w), before switching to Mark Loughnane’s yard in October of last year. A fourth of nine at Lingfield (7f, a/w) on debut for his new yard looked promising, but he has found it tougher since, even after a wind op, placing sixth of seven and seventh of ten in his last two runs. Comes in off a further drop in mark, while Benoit De La Sayette’s 5lbs claim could make the difference here. Well worth each-way backing, if able to find a good price.
