(1) 2:40pm Uttoxeter – Summerville Boy was 2/1, now 11/10
Former winner of the Supreme Novices at Cheltenham two years ago and was sixth last time out in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle, seven lengths off winner**Buveur D’Air. Makes chase debut and returns after a wind op in September. Barring any issues over fences, has enough to take the win here.

(2) 2:30pm Wetherby – Zeb Spirit was 6/1, now 4/1
Debuted over hurdles with a win at Fontwell in September, before being beaten into second by race rival and surprise winner Half Bolly at Market Rasen. Fell last time out but should bounce back here. Six pounds better off for this race and should have every chance of claiming the win.

(3) 12:00pm Newmarket – Celestran was 15/2, now 11/2
A well thought of debutant, whose dam finished second in the 1000 Guineas. Expected to run well and will be very interesting to see how he takes to the seven furlong trip with siblings Lunar Corona and Astrologer already performing well at this distance.

(4) 3:15pm Uttoxeter – Carlo Rocks was 12/1, now 8/1
Has had two runs since January, finishing third at Bangor in March and fourth at this venue, a fortnight ago. Shorter trip is a concern, as is the ability to overcome strong favourite Heavenly Promise. Worthy of an each-way shout.

(5) 3:45pm Newcastle – Kaafy was 20/1, now 12/1
Ran well on first all-weather appearance, when third over course and distance, but likely to find it tougher here. Each-way claims look the way forward.
