Twice winner on the flat and a fair maiden hurdler, with solid performances in two starts for Amy Murphy, placing third of six on the flat at Nottingham (1m 6f, good), before a fourth of seventeen at Worcester (2m 7f, good) in a Handicap Hurdle, forty days ago, when 7.75 lengths adrift of winner, Present Storm. Makes chase debut this evening and has attracted strong interest in the market. Each-way selection at very least, with a tentative outright bet for braver souls
7:40pm – SOME DETAIL (each-way)
Picked up a third career victory, when taking the spoils at Taunton (2m 7f, good to soft) in a Handicap Chase, beating Esprit De Samoza by 1.25 lengths. Creditable runs since, in bigger distance chases have seen Nigel Hawke’s runner tick along nicely and he comes into this return to hurdles, with plenty of hopes. Backed in from 6’s and has genuine claims, if continuing that form.
