1:40pm Navan (5 Places) EASTERN RACER – 22/1
This 8yo has eight career victories, with the last of those back in October of last year. Had not performed well since then, but some showed some promise last time when a 100/1 fourth, behind race rivals Prisoner’s Dilemma and Tony the Gent, finishing just 3 lengths back. Has a favourable draw and drops a further 1lb in weight, offering good each way claims here.
5:20pm York (4 Places) KYLIE RULES – 20/1
Five time winner last year, including the most recent at Thirsk, last August. Made a couple of runs last month on seasonal return, finishing fourth at Beverley and fifth at Thirsk seventeen days ago in Class 4’s. This looks a tough contest to expect a victory, but has the capabilities for a push at the places today.
