The first of this live ITV Racing pairing, comes in the shape of Lostintranslation, who goes in as narrow second favourite for the Ladbrokes Novices Chase at 1:50pm. The Colin Tizzard trained ride warmed up for the race with a third at the same venue, three weeks ago, although the drop in distance to a more familiar trip of two miles and three this time around should aide a better performance, as they look to battle La Bague Au Roi for the victory.
Later, in the 3:00pm race, the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle, Wholestone goes in as favourite for the race and will need to be at their best to hold off both Sam Spinner and Unowhatimeanharry. A return to track at Aintree delivered a second last time out, in a warm up for the race and with a more favourable distance here, a strong chance of bagging the win is likely, despite a tough challenge.

In the 3:35pm race, the Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle, a field of twelve runners take on the three mile journey, with Dragon D’Estruval the favourite to take the victory, in what looks to be a very open race. Four entries look most likely to challenge the favourite, with that quartet lead by Juge Et Parti.
