SATURDAY HOT POT TREBLE
This trio of odds on favourites makes up the Hot Pot Treble for Saturday, with the first of these coming in the form of Lalor, who goes in the Henry VIII Novices Chase (1:50pm at Sandown). Having started the new season with a win at Cheltenham, beating returning opponent Dynamite Dollars by seven lengths, the Richard Johnson ride looks in fine form to make it three wins on the bounce.
Later in the (2:05pm at AIntree), the Many Clouds Chase see’s Definitly Red go in as strong favourite to take the win, with Double Shuffle the only potential spoiler. After couple of disappointing outings, the Brian Ellison trained runner, returned from the Summer break with a win at Wetherby last month and looks to back to his best, having beaten Black Corton by two lengths.
Lastly, in what looks to be the banker of the three selections, the mighty Altior looks to make it fifteen straight wins in the Tingle Creek Chase (3:00pm Sandown. Of the three challengers, Un De Sceaux arguably looks the best equipped to mount some sort of challenge, but assuming the Summer has been kind to the favourite, a victory looks assured for the Nicky Henderson trained entry.
