Made a very strong start to his career, back in June, when second at Carlisle (6f, good to firm), when just a neck behind Claretina. The colt then returned from a 56 day break at Ripon (5f, good), struggling to a fifth of eight and finishing some 3 lengths behind winner, Not For Profit. Extended 7f trip looks more suitable, based off that debut run, but needs to show improvement here. Plenty of market interest and he finds himself just behind favourite, Mahalik on the boards. Big claims, assuming the extended trip does indeep play into his skill set.

2:45pm – HOW BIZARRE (Each-way)
Twenty-six races since his last victory, but this Liam Bailey charge, does tend to run well at this venue, picking up three wins and eight places over his career. he has been relatively consistent in recent months, placing second at Catterick (7f, good) last last month, when a neck behind Round The Island, before a fourth of ten at Newcastle (7f, a/w) last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths behind Bold Territories. Others are better treated, so places looks the more likely this afternoon.
5:00pm – BICEP
Ten starts since joining Grant Tuer’s yard, with a couple of second placed finishes included over the usual 5f trip, however he grabbed a victory last time out, when extended to 7f at this venue, just a week ago, beating Timbukone by 1.75 lengths. Takes on the same C&D this afternoon under a penalty, but still looks to have more to offer here. Jilly Cooper is the favourite for this contest, with each-way backing probably the safer option.
