Strong second place on second start for here over C&D some twenty-five days ago, when just a neck to Explicit. Struggled on first start for Jim Goldie in latest at Carlisle (5f, good to firm), but can be forgiven to an extent. Should bounce back here ona course he enjoyed last time and goes in as narrow favourite.

2:40pm – TERMONATOR
Twice a winner and has placed second on eight occasions overall, including the last two starts at Beverley (1m 4f, good to firm) and most recently at Newcastle (1m 2f, a/w), when 1.75 lengths behind Just Hiss. Very much in the mix and expected to be heavily involved once again and can hopefully take the spoils this time.
3:50pm – POET’S DREAM
Sixteen races since sealing a double at Beverley (1m, good to soft) back in May of 2021. Tim Easterby’s runner has been sniffing around the places here and there, picking up three in that time, with the most recent coming last time out at Carlisle (1m, good to firm) last week, when half a length behind Jackhammer, having lead until the final 110 yards, staying on well in the process. Favourite and the one to beat.
