Nigel Tinkler’s filly returned to action, off the back of a 210 day break to place fourth of fourteen, again at Beverley (7f, good, in a Class 4 contest, finishing 2.25 lenghts adrift of Foden. Extends to a mile this afternoon, while Faye MacManoman claims a useful 3lbs. Goes in as current favourite and has strong claims.

After a couple of tougher runs at higher levels, Mick Appleby’s charge romped home in his latest at Doncaster (1m, good to firm) in a Class 4 contest, beating Spirit Of The Bay by 4.25 lengths. Has a 5lbs penalty here, but looks good enough to defy that, this afternoon.
