Decent enough start to his career, when fourth of nine at Chester (6f, good), when 1.75 lengths adrift of Self Praise, some eighteen days ago, staying on well in the final furlong and contending with losing a shoe too. Richard Fahey’s charge is the well backed favourite here and looks the one to beat.

Willie Haggas’ runner won on debut at Ripon (1m 2f, good to firm) back in May, when 1.25 lengths clear fo Yorkindness. She has ran to a similar level in two races since, including when third of five here at Nottingham, over 1m 2f and should relish the drop in trip on this first handicap start. Looks the least exposed of these runners and arguably sets the standard here.
2:30pm – GASTRONOMY
Ran green on debut, when fifth of six at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) three weeks ago, finishing 3 lengths adritt of the winner, having been unable to really make a bid in the closing stages. The extended trip should aide Roger Varian’s charge here and with that experience under his belt, looks to be another who should show significant improvement, with Edward Bethell’s Nigwa the main concern.
