This Marco Botti trained runner made a decent enough debut, when sixth of twelve at Ascot (7f, good to firm) last month, albeit some 10 lengths adrift of the winner. This Kodiac colt, out of Dark Promise has a decent pedigree and certainly should improve off the back of that debut performance. Backed in on the markets and could well take the spoils this afternoon.

3:15pm – GORDONS AURA
Three relatively uneventful runs on the all-weather (7f – 1m) for Sir Mark Prescott, before returning from a 238 day break to finish third of seven on handicap debut, over an extended 1m 6f at Yarmouth. some 2.5 lengths behind Myboymax. Seemed a little green that day, having to be cajoled along at times, but should be better for that experience this afternoon. Narrow favourite here, but will need to be on the ball, with Mukha Magic and Rampoldi Plan waiting in the wings to take charge.
4:25pm – COOPERATION
Failed to add to three career wins in nine starts for Robert Cowell and immediately improved that record on his first run for Mike Murphy and Michael Keady, when taking the spoils, here over C&D, just five days ago, beating Triggered by a shorthead. Backed into narrow favouritism, ahead of So Grateful and has a great opportunity to make it a double today.
