Twice a point winner, but yet to score in eleven attempts under rules so far. He placed third on return from a long break at Huntingdon (2m 4f, good), back in May, before being brought at the same venue last month. He clearly showed no ill-effects from that, when improving to place second at Southwell (2m, good), twenty-four days later, losing out to Serjeant Painter, by just 0.75 lengths. In the mix here, if replicating that form, with First Angel the main threat.

3;20pm – KAVANAGHS CROSS
A win and seven places in thirteen starts, with the maiden victory coming back in December, in his eleventh start at Kelso (2m, soft), when beating Rowdy Rustler by 2.25 lengths. He followed that with a second at Musselburgh (2m 4f, good to soft|) in January, before disappointing at Doncaster. Returns from a six month break for a yard debut, but has decent claims off a good mark, if fit and ready.
3:55pm – IZZY’S CHAMPION (each-way)
Just three career wins, with the last of those coming back in March, when sealing the win at Musselburgh (2m 4f, good to soft) by a nose to Clear The Runway. Form did drop off a little in two subsequent starts at Kelso and Market Rasen, but he looked better for a short break, when fifth of twelve at Worcester (2m 4f, good) some four weeks ago, albeit a distance behind the winner. Needs to show more to beat favourite, Get With It, but worthy of each-way / place backing, if he doesn’t shorten any further.
