Beat just one other in his opening two runs, before showing some improvement to place seventh of eleven at Catterick (6f, good to firm) last time out, albeit 7.5 lengths behind the winner. Liam Bailey’s runner certainly needs to improve, but there has been some money on the boards for this colt and he could well favour an each-way selection.

2:17pm – IRISH APPROACH
Both starts have come at Nottingham, failing to make an impressive, when last of six on debut back in June, before getting rid of that greenness to places second in the lastest, over 1m (good) nine days ago, finishing just a length behind Willard Creek. Drop in trip should not be an issue, with David O’Meara’s runner expected to battle Carlton And Co for the spoils.
2:52pm – GIVE IT SOME TEDDY
Eight wins in fifty starts, although the last of those came back in August of last year at Thirsk. Its been eleven races since then, with a smattering of second places amongst them, while recent runs have shown a return to form, after a dip, placing fourth at both Newcastle (1m, a/w) and Thirsk (1m, good to soft) last time out, when 3.25 lengths behind Empirestateofmind. Favourite on the boards, but this is a tough contest all round and he will needs to show a little more here, to succeed.
