1:15pm Royal Ascot (5 Places) TRIPLE SPEAR – 33/1
Has shown some good form over the last seven months, winning a couple of Class 5 sprints either side of the new year. On his return from a three month break, he took the spoils in a Class 4 at Haydock on good to soft over today’s trip, with impressive Topspeed figure. Not really proven on soft, but is versatile enough to be involved. Solid price with five places on offer.
1:50pm Royal Ascot (4 Places) SETARHE – 7/1
Came off the pace to take the victory in a Fillies Maiden at Newmarket just over a fortnight ago, coming through to beat race rival Cirrus Roger by 0.75 lengths. Trainer Roger Varian, has won this race in 2014 and 2019, with high hopes this afternoon. A tough ask but will certainly be knocking on the door.
3:35pm Royal Ascot (4 Places) MUMS TIPPLE – 16/1
Lightl raced for Richard Hannon and has not been able to match the early career form, when winning a couple of Class 2 outings here and at York, last Summer. Trailed in last on seasonal return for the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket thirteen days ago, but a return to the more familiar 6f trip should suit much more. Capable of better and this looks a good opportunity to put themselves in amongst them today.
