Mick Appleby’s gelding looks to have more in the tank and should not look out of place in this Group 3 contest, with Mitbaahy the main threat.

Six wins in seven starts, with his unbeaten run ended at Newmarket in the 2000 Guineas in April, when 0.75 lengths behind Coroebus. Charlie Appleby’s star runner, bounced back to win the Irish equivalent at Curragh in May, when 1.75 lengths clear of New Energy and will be refreshed from this short break. In the mix as usual and expected to push favourite Vadeni all the way.
