3:30pm Beverley (4 Places) FLYING DRAGON – 14/1
Not won in nearly two years, but looked to be picking form up, wth seconds on the all-weather (both Class 5) at Lingfield and at Wolverhampton, when missing out by a neck to Clem A. Returned from a three month break, when last of four at Newmarket, over a mile, when elevating to Class 4 level. Arguably could have needed the run, but will need to find more here. Has slipped down the weights which offers hope for places here, in a relatively open contest.
5:00pm Kempton (4 Places) LETHAL TALENT – 14/1
Good all-weather form over the Winter and into Spring, including a victory a victory at Wolverhampton (7f) and a third over C&D in November. Not so prominent since return from a three month break, with a seventh at Sandown on turf the latest. Switches back to the all-weather and capable of major improvements from that last run
6:15pm Roscommon (4 Places) JOVEN – 10/1
Stepped up to 1m 1f at Dundalk on latest three weeks ago, but looked too much for Tom Mullins’s charge that day. Drops down into the 0-70 rating, but return to 7f should at least encourage. Good draw and Shane Foley continues onboard. Solid claims in this contest.
