Since then, has placed fourth in the John Durkan and then second last time out at Thurles in another Grade 2 contest, when 12 lengths adrift of Allaho. This former Melling Chase winner enjoys the mud and with conditions expected to suit, he looks the obvious option as my first selection

Amir Khan versus Kell Brook (10:00pm approx)
Two bitter rivals finally meet in a huge fight at the Manchester Arena on Saturday, as the two boxers finally meet in the same ring, after years of sniping and negotiations. Kell Brook goes in as favourite to win the bout, with Amir Khan arguably needing to try and end the fight early on, using his speed.
As the fight goes on, Brook will come into his own and its here, that I feel the man from Sheffield will prevail over Khan, with the Bolton man, never one for a slug fest. Kell Brook will look to wear his opponent down and I fancy him to win by K.O.

Leeds United v Manchester United (2:00pm)
Another set of old adversaries meet at Elland Road on Sunday, as Leeds United host Manchester United in this Premier League encounter. The home side are without a win in three and were easily beaten 3-0 by Everton at Goodison Park in their last match.
Manchester United, finally grabbed a win, after three successive draws, as a red card and a Cristiano Ronaldo goal helped the Red Devils to a 2-0 win. The sides drew 0-0 in the last meeting at Elland Road, but Ralf Rangnick’s have also won 6-2 and 5-1 in matches either side of that draw and despite home advantage, I can see the Red Devils quietening the Elland Road faithful and taking the three points.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leicester City (4:30pm)
In this Midlands derby, Wolves who are chasing European places, host Leicester City, who have struggled somewhat this season, at Molineux. The home side ended a run of two straight losses to beat Spurs 2-0 and do so quite comfortably in the end, thanks to two early goals.
Leicester ended a five game run without a win, with a 4-1 victory over Danish side, Randers on Thursday at the King Power, as the Foxes just start to show signs of a recovery in form. Interestingly this fixture has provided just two goals in the last five, with two 1-0 wins for Leicester and three 0-0 draws in that time. With both in useful form, the two sides may just cancel each other out, over 90 minutes.
