SATURDAY
Wigan Warriors – vs Hull FC, (Rugby Superleague, 3:00pm)
Fifth hosts third in the Rugby Superleague on Saturday, as Hull FC look to keep in touch with thier opponents, who themselves are looking to close the gap on St Helens at the top of the table.
Both sides suffered losses in their last games, Hull beaten 24-10 by St Helens, while Wigan lost 32-22 to Huddersfield Giants. The last time these sides met, Wigan won 19-18 and I just fancy the Warriors to take another narrow win here.

NATIVE TRAIL – Irish 2000 Guineas (3:20pm Curragh)
The Irish 2000 Guineas takes place at Curragh on Saturday afternoon, with all eyes on Godolphin runner, Native Trail, who goes in as strong favourite for trainer, Charlie Appleby. The Craven and Dewhurst Stakes winner, also won the Vincent O’Brien here at this venue and was argubaly unlucky to have his unbeaten record take on the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket.
Buckaroo offers the only genuine challenge here, with the rest needing massive improvements to win and this star colt should get back to winning ways in this contest.

SUNDAY
Tottenham Hotspur – versus Norwich City (Premier League, 4:00pm)
Tottenham travel to Carrow Road, with a point enough for the Lilywhites to secure their Champions League place next season. After a 3-0 win over rivals Arsenal, Spurs huffed and puffed to a 1-0 win over Burnley.
Opponents Norwich have won once in the last sixteen matches and only ended a four match losing run, with a draw at Wolves. Spurs should win this, but expect the usual heart rate raising moments from the North London side.
TOTTENHAM TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (31/20)
Draw Result – Burnley v Newcastle United (Premier League, 4:00pm)
Burnley take on Newcastle United, with a win for the Clarets liekly to secure their safety, while equalling Leeds United’s result will be enough to also secure safety. After a brief run that secured ten points from twleve, they have lost two on the bounce and were very unlucky at Tottenham to lose.
Newcastle beat Arsenal 2-0, to more or less end the Gunners Champions League hopes and will be in bouyant mood for this final fixture. Eddie Howe may look to offer squad players a chance with little to play for, but overall, this looks a bore draw.
