THIRSK – Tips For Your Free Bets!
1:45pm – CANDLE OF HOPE
Impressed when making a winning debut at Newbury (6f, good), fifteen days ago, beating Queen Of Uplands by 2.25 lengths and running on well. Expected to find today’s extended 7f trip even more to her liking and this Richard Hughes’ trained royal runner, can make it a double this afternoon. Strong and clear favourite on the markets.
Today’s Racecards
2:20pm – RUN CMC
Grant Tuer’s runner didn’t show much on his first two starts, before showing major improvement and taking the spoils at Musselburgh (5f, good), beating Georgiava by 0.75 lengths, twenty-three days ago. A sixteenth of twenty in the Class 2 – Super Sprint at Newbury can be overlooked, considering the rise in level for that contest, with a drop back to more calmer waters, likely to see an overall improvement.
4:00pm – PINK CRYSTAL
This Willie Haggas runner went close in December, with successive seconds at Newcastle and Wolverhampton (both 6f, a/w), both within a length of the winner. She finally grabbed a maiden win in her next start, when taking the spoils at Lingfield (6f, a/w) in the January, when 0.75 lengths ahead of Jastar. On return from a long break, seventeen days ago, she placed a useful third of nine at Wolverhampton, when juts 2.25 lengths behind Namasee and makes her turf debut this afternoon. Goes in as favourite, but must transfer that all-weather form across, here.
