Showed plenty of promise when an 80/1 fourth of thirteen on debut over C&D, some six days ago. Time Easterby’s runner made good headway in the final furlong, before running out of steam in the final 110 yards, but will have learnt plenty from that performance and is likely to show a big improvement here. Strong claims this afternoon.

3:30pm – LOVE FIFTEEN (each-way)
Solid runs last month, finishing third of eleven at both Ripon (6f, good) and Catterick (6f, good to firm), some 2.5 and 3.25 lengths adrift of the winner, in each respective contest. Makes handicap debut today of what looks to be a useful starting level and also attempts to take on 7f for the first time too. Chances here and once again each-way backing looks the ideal.
4:35pm – GLORY AND HONOUR
Winner over all three discipline, but off a low flat mark, compared to National Hunt level. However, a victory at Catterick (1m 4f, soft) three days ago, when 1.5 lengths clear of Purple Reign, offers a great opportunity to improve that record. David O’Meara’s charge is clear favourite here, with only the quick turnover, posing potential problems. Looks the one to beat.
