(1) (8:00pm Epsom) TOP CLASS ANGEL was 10/1 now 9/4
Two wins in ten starts, although the last of those was at Chelmsford (1m, a/w) back in August of last year, when sealing at double. Form has dipped since stepping up in class, with a seventh last time out at Chelmsford (1m 2f, a/w) last month seeing them finish 14 lengths adrift. Drop in mark and Rhys Clutterbuck’s 5lbs claim give them strong chances here and there has been plenty of money this afternoon

(2) (8:10pm Leopardstown) EVER PRESENT was 8/1, now 9/2
Winner on debut at Punchestown (2m yielding to soft) back in October and had to wait a further four runs for another, taking the victory over C&D by 6 lengths, three weeks ago. Capable of repeating that form today and Michael McGuane rides once more, with a 7lbs claim. Well backed and plenty of opportunity for more movement.

(3) (5:25pm Epsom) ESCOBEDO was 9/1 now 5/1
Five race maiden, with two places to his name so far, including a second at Windsor (1m, good) at the end of May, when 0.75 lengths behind Epidemic, who has since won again. Struggled in latest at Sandown in a Class 3 contest, but a resumption of more balanced competition gives hims a chance to get back into the fray. Each-way claims looks solid

(4) (6:10pm Leopardstown) JOVAN was 18/1 now 9/1
A thirteen race maiden, whose two place runs came at the beginning of his career. After a couple of poor runs in May, a seventh at Leopardstown (6f, good to firm) three weeks ago, when just 4.5 lengths adrift, offers hopes of a resurgence and the blinkers worn that day are kept also. Each-way backers may find potential, but places look the more realistic option

(5) (5:10pm Leopardstown) RAZDAN was 20/1, now 11/1
Matthew Smith’s charge has two place finishes in five runs so far, including the penultimate start at Dundalk (1m, a/w) back in January, when beaten by a head to Irwin. Returned from a break last month here at Leopardstown, but everything went wrong that day, as was badly hampered, was clearly in need of the run and blinker failed to aide his chances. Blinkers off here, while a better performance is expected, now stripped fitter. Places the more likely option
